Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar is an British and American sitar player. She also plays music. She was the first woman in her age group to be a member of the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Sitar Shankar is one of the Indian young sitar artist. She is the student and daughter of Ravi Shankar. Born in London in 1982 and spent her early years shuttling from London and New Delhi. In New Delhi, she made her debut at just thirteen years of age. At the age of 13, she finished her high school education at Encinitas CA. Anouskha's career as a performer and recorder is impressive, despite her young age. For a long time she performs regularly alongside her father. The singer has released Anourag her first album solo in 1998. The Grammy Award-winning live at Carnegie Hall was released two years following her debut solo album. Her career on stage is extensive for she has appeared in all of the major stages in the world. Anoushka isn't just a musician. Anoushka is a native of England, but spent most of her youth between London as well as Delhi. Then she moved to California and enrolled in the high school. at the age of nine, she started studying music with her father. Her debut performance on the Sitar took place at her 75th Birthday celebration in Delhi in the year following. Anoushka, who accompanied her father during his world tour, gained an impressive number of experiences. When she was in her teens, she appeared at Carnegie Hall as part of Peter Gabriel's WOMAD as well as recorded with George Harrison.
